Welcome to the Internet home of Platteview High School. As I begin my fifth year as principal, I continue to be grateful for the opportunity to serve a community that provides such tremendous support for our students and staff. The strong partnership between our school, families, and community is one of the many reasons PHS is such a special place. 

This year also marks the beginning of an exciting two-year construction project that will bring significant improvements to our campus. While the process will create some temporary disruptions, we are energized by the vision of what lies ahead. Upon completion, PHS will feature a nearly brand-new facility that connects directly to Platteview Central, including four new science classrooms, a large flex space, a modern Media Center, a new Family and Consumer Sciences kitchen lab, state-of-the-art Career and Technical Education facilities, renovated classrooms and increased storage space throughout the building. At PHS, parent involvement and strong communication between home and school remain top priorities. We value your partnership and encourage you to reach out whenever you have questions, concerns, or ideas.
