PowerSchool is Springfield Platteview Community Schools’ Student Information System (SIS) and serves as a central location for important student information. Parents can use PowerSchool for students in grades K–12. PowerSchool Login: https://springfieldplatteview.nebps.org/guardian At SPCS, PowerSchool is used to manage important student information such as grades, attendance, schedules, demographic information, and academic records. Parents and guardians can access PowerSchool to stay up to date on their student’s information and academic progress.

PowerSchool vs. Schoology — What’s the Difference?

While PowerSchool and Schoology work together, they serve different purposes:

• PowerSchool is the student information system and the primary location for official student records, grades, attendance, schedules, and other student information. Parents can use PowerSchool for students in grades K–12.
• Schoology is the learning management system (LMS) used by students in grades 3–12 for the day-to-day learning experience, including course materials, assignments, classroom resources, communication, and other learning activities. Schoology Login
• Parents and Schoology — Parents of students in grades 3–12 can view assigned assignments in Schoology. Grades are only synced between Schoology and PowerSchool for students in grades 7–12.

PowerSchool remains the primary system for student information, while Schoology provides the classroom learning environment for students in grades 3–12. For students in grades K–2, Seesaw is used as the learning platform rather than Schoology.
